The derma roller is the first step and key part of the Maskād® routine. Our handheld derma roller contains 540 stainless steel needles at 0.25mm depth to stimulate the skin and improve absorption of the Maskād® Anti-Aging and Hydrating Serum. The derma roller prepares the skin to receive optimal benefit from all serums with the Maskād® Deliver + Renew Mask. This three-part system works synergistically to give you the best possible skin care results at home.

I am an esthetician and I care for the i integrity of everyone’s skin. While the Maskād Dermaroller might be okay for a beginner at home, I really do not recommend using derma roller at home or even reusing it. Anyone with open sores or have acne should never use this. I’m a little skeptical as derma rollers can damage the skin; would prefer if this was a stamp needle instead. For me, I didn’t use this on my face; I used it on my stretch marks on my butt. I used with a couple times and drenched it in alcohols before and after use. Normally, if I were to microneedle, I would discard the cartridge after i am done using it. The fact that you can re-use this does increase the likelihood of infection. So beware to those that use this. I would find different alternatives if using for face.

Maskad Derma Roller is a great way to relieve the stress from your face. This was my first time using a derma roller and I enjoyed the experience. It is a wonderful substitute for a facial scrub. My face felt smoother and tighter after I applied the rest of my skincare. The needles were gentle on my sensitive skin but I would advise to apply a gentle touch when using the derma roller. As I continue to use it for a longer period of time, I would love to compare the results to a facial scrub. My fine lines acne scars were improving but I look forward to seeing the results with continued use. Overall, this facial tool is very easy to use and it is just as effective after applying serum or an emollient moisturizer. As someone who suffers from hyperpigmentation and pores as well as other skin concerns, I know that a derma roller can really help out. For that reason, I was excited to try the Maskād Dermaroller. This product is great because it contains 540 stainless steel needles at 0.25mm depth. Also, this is a good depth because it’s not too deep where as this will damage the skin. I definitely have noticed a difference in my skin since I’ve been using it. My serums also absorb very beautifully into my skin after using this derma roller. This product did not hurt my skin even though I know it sounds like it might. It didn’t irritate my skin at all but I also used light pressure. I feel like you will be able to tell with your skin what type of pressure you should be applying. I did make sure to sanitize the product before and after every use to ensure that there was no bacteria transfer or anything. Overall, really good product but just keep caution on how to use this product carefully.

The Maskad Dermaroller is an affordable at-home micro-needling treatment. I can admit I have not experienced derma roller micro-needling despite working in the beauty industry for 4 years!! This being my first experience, I can say it was an easy at-home treatment. I can say I was a little unsure about it due to the ability of my skin to scar easily. After using it for the first time my skin looked a little more brighter in tone and smooth. I can’t tell you that I saw a dramatic difference due to my not wanting to overdo it. I intended to do it once a week and forgot all about it. I only used it twice. The tool is easy to sanitize, you can let it sit in boiled water. I can add that my serums seemed to absorb better into my skin. I can’t say I would recommend it to too many individuals who only have experienced this as an at-home treatment and not from a licensed esthetician. I would use this as a touch-up after seeing one or researching and watching videos before use. My skin is sensitive but not as sensitive as others. I would encourage people with sensitive skin to get this treatment from a professional and communicate their skin concerns and what skin type they have. That being said I can’t say how often I would continue to use it.

Hi, my name is Kaisa! I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 8 years and a beauty lover my entire life.I have been testing a few of Maskads products and have been loving trying them out. I have personally never used a at home dermaroller and was excited to see what this one was all about. I typically go to a licensed professional for this service and I’m not going to lie was a little nervous to try it at home myself. I love that this tool comes in a nicely sealed and sanitized container. I did have a bit of a struggle with the plastic cap however that is really my only issue with this product. When using this tool on your face you want to apply light pressure and know where you want to use it. It does not hurt however you can feel it on your skin. I have to say I absolutely loved the results I got from using this dermaroller. My skin was opened up just enough to allow my wonderful Maskad serums to penetrate deep into my skin. I am however hesitant on this dermaroller to be sold to anyone. You do not have to be a licensed professional to use this however if you don’t properly sanitize or use this tool right it can cause more damage than good. Overall I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a quality dermaroller

So for starters the Maskād Dermaroller is a great facial tool for people such as myself. While trying to rebuild and renew my skin barrier for a stronger and healthier complexion I have found derma rolling. I always recommend to start with cleansed skin and sanitized derma roller. I then begin by applying mild pressure in sections using my skin loving serum. Eventually I noticed my skin being far more absorbent with my products, I had overall clean glowing skin that reflects and feels as soft as cloud. This derma roller by maskad enabled my skin to be much more balanced than before. I’m incredibly happy with my results, I will definitely keep incorporating this beauty once a week.

I am all about skincare tools. I feel like they enhance your skincare overall and should be incorporated into a routine depending on what you want to achieve. There are many tools that can be used safely at home, which is why, as a licensed esthetician, I can be a little torn depending on what tool is being used. As long as you are aware of the tool and how to use it, then go for it. I am very familiar with derma rollers and how they are used, as well as for what purpose. This one is a very high quality roller. I noticed right out of the packaging how amazing it was going to be. It’s a great tool to ensure that your products penetrate your skin on a deeper level so that they can really give you optimal results. It really does make a difference when using correctly. Definitely pay attention to your skin, it can become more sensitive after using so don’t need super alarmed, just keep an eye out for any irritations. Also, protecting you skin during the day is very important if you are planning on using something like this, so please use SPF and again, watch out for any irritations. Aside from that, use with caution and care…the benefits are amazing!

I am not new to the world of dermarolling, however, I *am* new to having a high-quality dermaroller. I was very selective about when/how often I used my old one, simply because it was squeaky when it rolled. It worked, but it certainly wasn’t a relaxing experience.The Maskād Dermaroller has a great design all around— I am developing arthritis in my hands, so comfort is everything to me. It has a great, moveable weight to it without being heavy. It’s not so light that it’s going to fly out of your hand, but it’s also not so heavy that I have trouble holding it for extended periods of time. The roller head is very easily replaceable (in fact, this may be the only issue I had; the head comes off more easily than the cover does) which is wonderful in terms of monetary value, environmental impact, and personal hygiene.Dermarolling, in general, is something that I highly recommend anybody try at least once. This roller makes such a treatment accessible to the every-day consumer in a safe, hygienic, and user-friendly way. If you’re looking for that extra step to level up your skincare game, you’re gonna want to try this!
